COMMENT: Rascals are no longer just nauthy boys



The novel "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" was written by Mark Twain and was published between 1876 and 1878. It’s a very entertaining novel.

This novel is about an imaginary boy (Tom Sawyer) who lives with his aunt Polly and brother Sid. The story takes place in St. Petersburg, on the banks of the Mississippi. Tom is an intelligent boy, but he doesn’t like going to school. He is always looking for a way to spend more time his friends. He and his friends, Joe Harper and Huckleberry Finn flee to an island to become pirates.

Born on November, 30 1835 in Florida (United States). His real name is Samuel Langhorne Clemens, he wrote such successful plays as “The Prince and the Beggar” or a “Yankee in the court of King Arthur”, but he achieved fame with the novels "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" and "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn”. William Faulkner called Twain «the father of American literature».

Finally, “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer”, is a very interesting and funny novel, because the environment in which story develops makes the reader not bored. I recommend reading this novel, both children and adults.

COMMENT: Bubión on fire, but...

The fire in the Alpujarra of Granada was stabilized yesterday at nine in the morning. The firefighters were working all night to put it out.  The wind was a big complication for firefighters. The fire started on Wednesday at two o'clock in the afternoon. They deployed to Bubion, on hundred and ten people and six autobombs. The fire has burned land of high tourist value, in the Sierra Nevada National Park. Forest fire are a threat in the summer. At this period the temperatures are very high and it interacts more with the environment. It is very important not to throw rubbish into the forest or anywhere else. Finally, we have to avoid fires because they are very dangerous to the environment. We must all be aware that we must not contaminate the forests.

Comment: The Amazon rainforest, a big issue for the entire planet!!!

The Amazon jungle is one of the most important jungles for our planet. And it’s considered as the lung of the world. Why is it considered a lung?, the Amazon jungle absorbs millions of tons of carbon dioxide present in the atmosphere. By decreasing the global amount of this gas that affects the planet, it contributes to stop climate change. Why is it important for the planet?, this forest is important to ensure the stability of the global climate, and permit for the regulation of rainfall by continuously maintaining and enabling the water cycle. Unfortunately, in August last year, the Amazon jungle suffered many fires. It’s origin was the problem of deforestation by Brazilian politicians, who want large areas for the cattle. With the arrival of Bolsonaro, deforestation has increased and has increased by 273%. Finally, in my opinion we should take more care of nature, we must be aware that without it we can’t live. Nature is a key to better living.
